Our Center for Smart Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics is positioned as a nexus globally to provide cutting edge research, development and capacity building, including innovation in the space of smart manufacturing, artificial intelligence and robotics. In particular, we focus on utilising artificial intelligence in a responsible manner to serve our society and specifically focusing on social impact and social justice issues.

The Center for Smart Manufacturing, AI and Robotics at ATII is focused on supporting individuals, organisations and companies that are interested in developing innovation for emerging economies, particularly in Africa, also serving the African continent in an equitable manner, while serving Africans in diaspora in an equitable manner.

When it comes to Smart Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, we are here to support innovators or individuals interested in scaling up and getting trained in this field, or in partnering with us to create innovations in this field.
